This Privacy Notice for ABHIJITH NC ("we," "us," or "our"), describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your personal information when you use our services ("Services"), including when you:
- Download and use our mobile application (Bloom - Pregnancy Tracker), or any other application of ours that links to this Privacy Notice
- Use Bloom - Pregnancy Tracker. Bloom is a private iOS pregnancy tracker. It helps expectant mothers log daily symptoms, track kick counts and contractions, manage appointments, and document their pregnancy journey. Pregnancy records are stored locally on device in this version.
- Engage with us in other related ways, including any marketing or events
Questions or concerns? Reading this Privacy Notice will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. If you still have any questions or concerns, please contact us at kulturekatbeats@gmail.com.
BLOOM APP-SPECIFIC DISCLOSURES
Local-first health records. Your pregnancy records — daily logs, symptoms, kick and contraction sessions, blood pressure, glucose, mood and anxiety check-ins, letters, photos, and birth plan — are stored on your device by default. We do not maintain user accounts and do not upload these records to our servers.
AI-generated insights (optional, Premium). When you use AI weekly insights or appointment preparation, the app sends only aggregate, de-identified metrics (for example: pregnancy week, average mood score, count of elevated blood-pressure readings, symptom category names) to our serverless function, which forwards them to Google's Gemini API to generate the text shown to you. No name, no notes, no free-text entries, and no identifiers are included. These metrics are processed to generate the response and are not used to build a profile of you.
Apple HealthKit. With your permission, Bloom can read heart-rate data and write or read blood-pressure measurements via Apple HealthKit. HealthKit data is used only on your device, is never sent to our servers or to any third party, and is never used for advertising, in accordance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines.
Subscriptions. Bloom Premium is a monthly auto-renewable subscription billed by Apple through your App Store account. We do not receive or store your payment details. Earlier one-time purchases ("Bloom Lifetime") are no longer sold; purchase records remain with Apple.
Apple Watch and widgets. If you use the Bloom watch app or home-screen widgets, your data syncs directly between your iPhone and your watch using Apple's device-to-device connectivity and a shared on-device app group. This sync does not pass through our servers.

10. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.
California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser DNT signals. Because there currently is not an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time.
